So exciting news\u2026 we have merch.<\/p>
Merch?<\/em><\/p> Yeah we\u2019re totally merch people.<\/p> I\u2019m not getting into a \u201cSocial Meeeds\u201d conversation with you again, but I do agree we are merch people.<\/em><\/p> Anyway we\u2019ve pulled together some designs and used Teemill to build a store for you all to peruse: hopefully you\u2019ll find something you like! It\u2019s an exciting start. Couple of things to note:<\/p> Sizing:<\/strong> We\u2019re not sure we\u2019ve quite hit the mark on the sizing yet, both in terms of fit and range. Unhelpfully, most distributers still split into \u201cMen\u2019s\u201d and \u201cWomen\u2019s\u201d section for clothing and we really didn\u2019t want people to have a sudden twang of gender feelings when you\u2019re just trying to buy a t-shirt. We\u2019ve put out a \u201cbasic\u201d - designed to fit people with flat bodies - and a \u201crelaxed fit\u201d - which has slits up the sides to allow for a curvier mid-section. (Hare actually preferred the fit of the \"basic\", so you can't please everyone.) We would welcome feedback if you would like to see different sizes and fits.<\/p><\/li> Money:<\/strong> We did think about doing this ourselves but neither of us really have the space to hold stock nor the time to act as a distribution centre, which is why we\u2019re using an outside company. While this means we don\u2019t need to worry, money-wise the percentages are not kind to us. While this isn\u2019t primarily a money making scheme, we do want to raise a bit of cash so that more money can go to the acts each month. (As a reminder, we don't take any of your money - 95% of it goes to the acts.) On each item we\u2019ve listed how much goes to Coherent Comedy so you are fully aware.<\/p><\/li> Low Income: <\/strong>You\u2019ll see we\u2019ve done lower-priced versions of the t-shirts. They are exactly the same as the more expensive versions, they just don\u2019t cost as much. If you need to, please purchase the lower cost version, no questions asked. If this still doesn\u2019t work for you but you really want a t-shirt, message us and we\u2019ll try and work something out. Of course, if you want to support us we\u2019d be really pleased if you want to purchase the higher priced versions but really - no worries if not. For all the other items they are basically as cheap as it allows us to go while still bringing in a little to Coherent.<\/p><\/li> Badges\/Stickers:<\/strong> Lots of requests for these! Unfortunately Teemill doesn\u2019t provide an option for this sort of paraphernalia so we are currently searching for the right provider for these.
